Day 1: Welcome to New York
Greetings from New York City! Join your tour guide and your group for a casual welcome at the hotel in the evening. In the meantime, feel free to explore New York’s well-known streets like a local or relax in preparation for our amazing journey!
Day 2: Tour of Boston and New York
We begin our journey early in the morning and travel over Long Island to historic New England. Once you arrive, follow your guide on a walking tour of the Freedom Trail that includes historical memorabilia. Walk the route that passes by famous locations including Boston Common, King’s Chapel, the scene of the Boston Massacre, and the taverns and pubs where the founding fathers celebrated the independence! Explore the charming cobblestone lanes of ancient Beacon Hill, which conceals an incredibly stunning neighborhood. After our tour, you are free to explore the town. You might want to try the local clam chowder at Quincy Market, which was built in 1826 and is now home to a variety of boutiques, stores, cafes, and restaurants.
Day 3: Journey from Boston through New England to Québec City
We travel to the Great White North, or Canada, by way of Vermont and New Hampshire, traversing the rural areas of New England! Travel by charming towns and the White Mountains, which offer breathtaking views throughout the year, particularly in the spring! It will be evening when we get in Québec City, Canada. Foodies might opt for an optional visit to a real maple farm where they can taste snippets of the highly regarded French-Canadian cuisine.
Day 4: Take a tour of Montréal, Québec City
We start our adventure in the morning with an urban exploration. Take a tour of Québec City, the provincial capital of Quebec, which is primarily spoken in French, with your guide. A walking tour of the walled city will come after marveling at the magnificent attractions, which include the Québec Provincial Parliament Building and the Citadelle, both of which have been designated as UNESCO World Heritage sites. This location offers breathtaking views of the Saint Lawrence River along with the Chateau de Frontenac. Enjoy a coffee break and some delectable pastries with some time before we depart for Montréal. If you have time, you should also stop into Old Québec’s colorful and lovely outdoor gallery, Rue du Tresor. Proceed to Montréal and take a walking tour around Vieux Port in Old Montréal to orient yourself. En way, you’ll pass by some picturesque locations like Place Jacques Cartier and Notre Dame Basilica.
Day 5: See Montréal, Ottawa, and Toronto on a tour
Ottawa, the Canadian capital, is the next stop! A bustling metropolis with stunning parks filled with vibrant flowers, take a panoramic tour to see some of its most notable sights, such as the stunning parliament building. After that, we travel to Toronto, the biggest English-speaking city in Canada, via the 1,000 Islands Parkway! You can spend some time exploring the city at your own speed or elect to enjoy a leisurely sail along the St. Lawrance River while taking in the breathtaking surroundings.
Day 6: Tour of Niagara Falls and Toronto
This morning, continue our exploration with a drive past Toronto’s striking skyline, which is adorned with contemporary skyscrapers, the most renowned of which is the CN Tower! At 550 meters, the CN Tower, one of the tallest free-standing high-rise structures in the world, dominates the city. You can choose to go on an optional tour of the tower and stand on a glass floor 300 meters above the earth if you’re ready to increase your heart rate. We continue our journey down the Welland Canal along Lake Ontario until we reach Niagara Falls, a truly amazing natural phenomenon! You can take a leisurely tour around Table Rock and the distinctive Floral Clock, see the Horseshoe Falls thunder down, and then take an optional Hornblower Cruise to see the falls’ base up close!
Day 7: Explore Gettysburg, Niagara Falls, and Amish Country
We bid the intriguing features of Niagara Falls farewell and continue our journey through the Finger Lakes Region, arriving in Pennsylvania, the Keystone State! The Gettysburg National Military Park is where we’re going next. Both Abraham Lincoln’s renowned speech in 1863 and the American Civil War’s most significant and pivotal battle occurred here. We travel to picturesque Amish Country, Pennsylvania, by following the mesmerizing Susquehanna River—the longest river on the East Coast—after seeing Gettysburg!
Day 8: Travel through Amish Country and arrive in Washington, D.C.
Take a journey across Pennsylvania’s rural countryside and stop by an Amish museum to start the morning. Observe firsthand their distinctive 300-year-old customs of leading a simple existence without of electricity, machinery, electronics, or the internet! We travel to the well-known nation’s capital, Washington, D.C., in the afternoon to have some downtime and rest!
Day 9: Explore the famous sites of Washington, D.C.
Are you prepared to take a deep look at the capital? Accompany your knowledgeable guide to discover all there is to know about the magnificent sites, which include the JFK Memorial site at Arlington National Cemetery, the U.S. Capitol Building, the Washington Monument, the Lincoln Memorial, and the White House. Savor your own leisure time in the afternoon; consider taking a stroll along the Potomac River’s banks or visiting one of the many museums, which includes the renowned Smithsonian Institute.
Day 10: Journey from Washington, D.C. to Philadelphia, New York City
We continue driving toward Philadelphia, the “City of Brotherly Love,” after leaving the capital! Explore the quaint historic quarter of the “City of Brotherly Love” and the country’s birthplace after you arrive. Take pleasure in an all-encompassing city tour that visits notable locations including the Liberty Bell and Independence National Historic Park, the site of the July 4, 1776, adoption of the Declaration of Independence. Go back to New York City and spend the evening taking in the vibrant global metropolis at your own pace.
Day11: Departure for New York
Once we check out of the hotel by 11am and bid farewell to our new companions, our adventure will come to an end in Los Angeles.
